My freshman year starting Centennial was stressful because of Covid. We had a choice if we wanted to come into school or be virtual, but I used to come to see my friends. My friends would help me if didn´t know how to solve a question. My freshmen year I played junior varsity, no one could come to the games and we had to play with a mask on which makes it harder for us to breathe. It was fun playing with people older than me since that’s what I’m used to.

Starting my sophomore year my grades started to slip. People in my family passed away and it was just hard for me to focus. I played some games but not all.My Junior year I had tore my meniscus and that just took everything away from me. I thought I´ll never play basketball again. I had to do a full 2 months of physical therapy before I could play again and it was just bringing me down mentally , and I wanted to give up but my family and friends encouraged me to keep going during that hard time. Senior year as of right now going good we finished off senior night with a dub and the regular season with 19 wins and 9 losses.

I feel like I did good and it was fun playing in front of my family on and at Centennial high. Sometimes I start, sometimes I don´t. I feel like if we play together and play as a team we can win it all. Also keeping my grades up in the classroom matters too because in order to play you need to keep good grades. If we make it far during regionals I believe that I can get a basketball scholarship and go to a decent college next year and finish school.

After high school I plan to major in business and entrepreneurship because I feel like I can do well with my own business and making my own clothing line because I like to dress.

After basketball I´m going to maintain my grades by playing baseball, itś just something for me to do while waiting on college and get my career going. I feel like later in my life I see myself wealthy with kids and continuing my education + business. Basketball was what motivated me to stay focused in school and hopefully be successful in life.
