These are some of the most unusual jobs in my opinion.  First we need to recognize the “normal jobs”. I would say normal jobs include but are not limited to a nurse, a doctor, an actor, a teacher, a fast food worker, an assistant, a police officer, and there are many more. Most people have these jobs but there are many exceptions out in the world. Jobs no one has ever heard of or maybe you have heard of.

The first unusual job is a professional sleeper. You may be wondering what in the heckorooni is a professional sleeper and how do i become one. Well the shorter answer to that is your job is to sleep in a different bed every night and critique the comfort of the bed. To be even more unusual, the highest employer for this job is nasa. They prepare to travel to mars to study the effects on the human body for laying still for a long period of time.

Coming next is a scuba diving pizza delivery man. That sounds a little soggy but interesting. This guy’s job is to deliver pizza to the underwater hotel in florida, he supplies them with pizza for the underwater guests. But don’t worry, they are carried in watertight containers. I think that would be an incredible job for someone who likes to spend time in water and really loves pizza.

Next up is an odor judge. Yes you are correct they are responsible for smelling volunteers breath, feet, armpits etc. This is so they can have accurate judgment on how a product works.  Although the job may seem just outright gross they make a lot of money and half the time it doesn’t smell bad, they are smelling products. In Illinois you can make $27 an hour and more for this job.  I don’t think I would do it but it’s out there.

This next one is probably someone’s dream. It is a full time netflix viewer. They are paid to watch tv all day. Their job is to watch netflix movies before they release so that they can put it in the correct tag, which helps the viewers find exactly what they want. They make 70,000 per year. Would you do this? I would.

Last but not least is a Drying paint watcher. Someone does make a living by watching paint dry. They spend their days painting sheets and watching paint dry to watch for color changes, texture changes and the drying times of the paint. I think this job would be super easy but time consuming and maybe even a little boring. I probably would do it. Would you do this?

Those were some of the most unusual jobs I’ve heard of but there are many more and even more unusual ones.
